1. Information on Assisted Living in Alabama

2. Chapter Service in the Area

The Chapter supports the local Junior ROTC programs and distributes medals for outstanding cadets. In the last year the Chapter provided financial support to the Wounded Warriors, the Soldiers Food Locker, Wreaths Across America and the Chaplains Food program. The Chapter also supports a designated MOAA National Scholarship program to assist deserving students. Chapter personnel are very active in providing input to our elected officials on issues that are vital to the active duty and retired community. A Chapter volunteer also maintains an email list to keep retirees informed on information of interest on both the local and national level. This email list is also used to notify persons of "Urgent Notices" to contact our elected officials. If you would like to be added to the email list please send an email to Service and Legislative Email. Our Chapter members also participate in numerous other activities such as Salvation Army Bell Ringing; serve as ushers at the Retiree Health Fair; serve on the Commanding Generals Retiree Council;  Equestrian Center Council; and the Golf Course Council.
